The Earth Is Full of the Goodness of the Lord

Psalm 33:4-5  For the Word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. 

Many will dispute this fact, that the earth is full of God's goodness, especially in light of the wars, rumours of wars, the pandemic, economic burdens, job losses, the pandemic of fear, and the millions of deaths which have become a part of our daily lives, so to speak. But God is not mad at anybody. He has not replaced the fullness of His goodness in the earth with heartbreak, sadness, evil, destruction, war, death or disease. There is still an enemy in the world out to steal from, kill and destroy many lives.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. ~Jesus.

The Word of the Lord Is Right

Holy Spirit reminds us in Psalm 33:4-5 that we need to look to the Word of God, our Bibles, as our Source of Truth. As Believers in Jesus Christ, we are not in denial of truth in this life. But we must measure everything by the light of the truth of the Scriptures in order to maintain a balanced view of life.

John 17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth. ~Jesus.

When we face life head-on, without the light of the Word, the fear that inevitably accompanies news reports and our circumstances can potentially draw us off-course from God's best for our lives. The Word of God is to be our compass in life, our Spiritual GPS, a right and true tool we can utilize to find our way Home when the cares of this life cause us to stray. If you want to know what is the right thing to do, read your Bible, pray first about everything, and consult with the Holy Spirit about His best route for you.

All God's Work Is Done In Truth

All God's work is done in truth. 

Exodus 34:6 And the LORD YHWH passed before him and proclaimed: ADONAI, ADONAI merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.

Everything God does is in truth. He never buys into or produces a lie. He does not use the devil to do His work in the earth. His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Anointing, only teaches the truth.

1 John 2:27 But the Anointing which you have received of Him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same Anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide In Him.

We can therefore trust God with our whole heart to always lead us into truth.

He Loves Righteousness and Justice

God loves righteousness and justice because He is righteousness and justice. Those are inseparable parts of His nature. God is not moved by bribes, tears, or favouritism. God is only moved by faith truth, righteousness and justice in the earth.

Jesus died so that we could be made the righteousness of God through Him. 

II Corinthians 5:21 For He has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God In Him.

We should not try and approach God in our own righteousness, thinking He must surely be impressed with all our good works. God emphatically states that our own righteousness is as filthy rags, a stench, in His nostrils!

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

We must come into God's Presence in the righteousness of Christ then we will be accepted and welcomed. 

The Earth Is Full of the Goodness of The Lord

Because of the above facts, that God's Word is always right, that all His work is done in truth, that God loves and always works righteousness and justice in the earth, therefore we can sleep soundly at night knowing that the earth is still full of the goodness of the Lord! 

God is good all the time. That has never changed and He will never change. 

Hebrews 13:8-9 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

We can live trusting in the power of His might to see us through each day with full confidence and assurance that His goodness fills the earth and will fill our lives.
